When I met with Doug for the first time I immediately felt comfortable. His knowledge of health and training was apparent and he was completely focused on my task at hand, which was to summit Mt.Whitney in 4 months time. By the end of our meeting I was totally pumped to start training! We wasted no time at all to start training and hit the ground running, which was exactly what I wanted to do. Every exercise he assigned to me was tied into the areas of stamina, endurance, and power I would need for my big hike. He made sure to focus on the importance of nutrition that I would need in order to fuel myself for daily health but also while out in the backcountry.
